A Word to Students

At KIDS' Oxford Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, students are expected to uphold the highest standards of discipline, respect, and responsibility.
The following guidelines are intended to help students conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the values of the institution:

    Permission to Leave

    Students must not leave the classroom without the teacher's permission. If it is necessary to leave, permission should be obtained from the teacher scheduled for the next period.

Personal Appearance

  • Jewelry and Makeup

    Students are not allowed to wear jewelry or apply makeup on the school campus.
  • Haircuts

    Boys must maintain a short haircut.

Behavior

  • Language and Conduct

    The use of bad language or inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited.
  • Prohibited Items

    Students must not bring books, magazines, or any items unrelated to their studies to school.
  • Respect and Cleanliness

    Meals, if consumed in classrooms, must be done so neatly, leaving the area clean.
  • Wrappers, leaves, and waste should be disposed of in garbage bins provided on campus.
  • Personal Belongings

    Students are responsible for the safety of their books, fountain pens, watches, tiffin carriers, bicycles, and other belongings.

Prohibited Activities

  • Serious Misconduct

    The following actions may result in suspension or dismissal

    Irregular attendance
  • Habitual idleness or neglect of homework
  • Disobedience or disrespect towards staff
  • Immoral conduct, theft, or damaging school property
  • Smoking, drinking, drug use, or involvement in undesirable movements
  • Taking part in demonstrations against government orders or joining political groups.

Silence and Movement

  • Maintaining Silence

    Silence must be observed throughout school hours and when transitioning between classes. The class teacher will oversee students during school hours.

After-School Conduct

  • Prompt Return Home

    Students are expected to head straight home after school or games without loitering. Boys and girls must not buy eatables or items from street vendors.

Interaction with the Opposite Sex

  • Co-Educational Expectations

    This is a co-educational institution. Complaints of clandestine meetings with the opposite sex will be dealt with strictly.

School Premises

  • Leaving School Grounds

    Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal or Headmaster.
  • By following these guidelines, students will contribute to a safe, respectful, and disciplined learning environment. These rules are designed to foster personal growth and maintain the values of KIDS' Oxford Matriculation and Higher Secondary School.
